I was beaten and battered from a very young age by my mother. I raised 3 children without lifting my hands to them, I didn’t want them to suffer as I did. Now my grand children are being raised as their parents were and I’m glad I broke that cycle.

Poor little guy. I will never understand why a parent takes their anger out on an innocent child. If she did it once, she'll do it again. Sickening

Her doing it in public is another red flag. Just imagine what that little boy experienced behind closed doors. She should've given him up for adoption as a baby. Poor boy. Praying he heals and finds a family who shows him what love should be.

$5K for beating her 3 year old? Do better. She should have a way higher bond than that.

The fact the child was so quiet while this happened just shows this wasn’t the first time. Absolutely sickening. Being a mother it makes your heart break and your stomach turn.

I think a $5, 000 bond is deplorable for what she did. I hope she never gets that boy back!

My mother was like this. She pulled me out of school to hide it for 14 years. That neighbor saved that child from so much agony to come. ❤. It's validating to see the public react with horror to something that was so common in my home

This happened in the hallway. Behind closed doors imagine this child living each day with her.

To the neighbor/witness: thank you so very much for your bravery and willingness to risk taking the action in order to protect that poor little boy. May someone be present every time a helpless, vulnerable child, or other being...cat, dog, whoever...is victimized.
Thank you, officer, for your assistance to him.

She should never get him back. She is a sociopath

This is what my mother was like with me and my siblings. And today she acts like she didn’t cause us trauma. Happy to say that I don’t talk to her or have any relationship with her now.

As a mother this makes me sick to my stomach. No child deserves to be treated this way. Heartbreaking.

Scary to think what she does behind closed doors.

My mom always told me "every child deserves a parent but not every parent deserves a child" and this made me realize

Why is the bond so low for this criminal

The fact that that poor child doesn’t even let out a peep during the entire assault is indicative of him enduring many similar beatings in the past - and being harmed even more if he were to cry. She’s absolute garbage.

Bless the neighbor for calling the authorities. Praying for the tiny child.

Let's say it again: Every child deserves parents, but not every parent deserves a child!

The saddest things about these cases . Kids aren’t safer in CPS custody . It’s a lose lose for kids who have parents that suck .
