How do you turn it on if it's out of battery and charging? Does it take longer to power up?

like the keyboard is only light in the center not the sides sadly. I brought it into apple and they said as long as it turns on and if problems persist to take it back to get repaired for a couple days, i just took it home with me and started using a compressed air to try and blow out the keyboard without taking it apart. it works better

yup it's perfectly normal :) but I suggest you bring it to apple because it might have ruined your laptop.

Hey actually it does, on 0:29 there's like this vibration noise I'm talking about if you listen carefully. So it's normal I suppose?

I'm a first time Mac user and first time MacBookr Pro owner. I just bought my 17" MacBook Pro. But it has that same weird sound that yours had when i turned it on. Why do the MacBook Pro's make the awfully annoying sound. I can't believe that's normal. I watched this video just to make sure that i wasn't the only one and to see if that sound was normal. But now that I see that the sound is, in fact normal, I'm even more curious. Why do they make that stupid sound when powering on. Is it the HDD?

yeah mine does that too thats why i came to watch this video. i heard his do the noise as well. Does your light partially light up your keyboard? mine does for some reason and i bought it yesterday. i also spilled beer on half of the keyboard so fml

Mines turning on and it stops on the apple bar loads a little bit then it turns off help
