The new JX 850 or 870 range of Panasonic TVs look great but are they any good?

I buy all my TVs from John Lewis in the UK as they have the best service, price match and deal with any issues quickly and without hassle.

I have a +15 year old 50inch plasma tv from panasonic. It is great. A year ago there was a humming noice in the tv. I vaccumed it with a turbo nossle and the noice was gone.
The picture quality has just recently been passed by newer technology. I do think that there is NO manufacturer that have this outstanding quality like Panasonic.
My next tv is a Panasonic for sure. My only critique are their remotes, wich is chunky, and complicated.

My model JX850BZ, 50" came today. OOTB picture settings were way off for my liking, as you said. I made some adjustments and all well now, though I would like a bit more sharpness, which I have at 100%. I don't watch terrestial TV at all, and I bought this to watch Prime and YouTube. Setting up wi-fi was easy. You mentioned the stand, I love it's design. I'm upgrading from an old HD and am happy with almost everything here. Picture, contrast, blacks, etc all good. Menu options excellent, connection options too. 4/5.

What soundbar would people recommend for this Tv? One to be able to control the sound with the original Panasonic remote control.

Great review, thanks 👍👌 Watched and finally decided to order the 40" from John Lewis. Shall you be doing a video for the picture settings for the JX870B ? It'd be much appreciated 😁 Ours arrives next week.

Bro, can you please make a game focused review and including a Sony LED too like the X90J? Because I'm considering to get this TV!

Hooly sh**! Color accuracy is mindblowingly good, and for being LED it's even better than Panasonic OLED because WOLED can't reproduce as many colors as LED can. Just look at skin color on her and his fingers at 4:04! And there is literally no blooming and the scene at 5:36 is as dark as you may find on OLED, at least in terms of no blooming! And what we on Sony? Crazy blooming on LED and still blooming on miniLED! lol! Sony doesn't deserve the respect it has today! Panasonic is the real Japanese brand! Period! Can't wait to see Panasonic QD-OLED!!!
