Panasonic TVs Get Disney Plus App + Rank Among Top 3 OLED Brands (for Good Reason)

The popular Disney+ app has landed on Panasonic TVs from 2017 onwards with the My Home Screen platform, following a firmware update. Compatible models include the Panasonic EZ, EX, FZ, FX, GZ, GX, HZ, HX, JZ (including JZ2000 & JZ1500) & JX series.

I’ve had a Panasonic oled for 2 years because of your reviews I came from Sony and I’ve never regretted it it has become my favourite tv and will be upgrading soon to the 1500

You are correct, youcan't beat a panasonic out of the box, coming from a lg c7 then c9 then sony a8 and currently panasonic hz1000 it's a no brainer. I would attend the shootout in Leeds. Thanks for the great content and all the effort you put in, it's much appreciated.

Finally! I can confirm that on my HZ2000 Dolby Vision is supported while, unfortunately, atm Dolby Atmos isn't (checked WandaVision both on the TV and Nvidia Shield). :(
UPDATE: I just had a chat with Disney+ CS and they confirmed that Dolby Atmos is not supported on Panasonic. :(

Any chance of a HZ2000, and A90J comparison? I am curious about near black tracking as well as the heatsink efficacy and luminance levels. A shootout would be amzing but if it's not possible I think we all understand.

I would defo attend the shoot out Vincent. Never watched a calibrated TV and still 50/50 on whether I would get it done for my Panny HZ1500.

Hmm interesting, personally I don't own a Panasonic tv, but now that they've incorporated Disney plus into their tvs could this mean the app will also come to Panasonic 4k Blu ray players in the near future, as I do own the Panasonic DP-U820 player?! 🤞
