INSTALL PLEX ON RASPBERRY PI 4 USING PORTAINER DOCKER EPISODE 23

Today we are going to install Plex on Raspberry Pi 4 using Portainer Docker. We are going to create a Plex account then using a stack in Portainer we are going to deploy a Plex container. From there we are going to configure Plex and set up remote access. We also show you how to invite a friend so they can stream your media. You don't want to miss this one!

Thanks for this well explaint Video! I got this Error "sleep: cannot read realtime clock: Operation not permitted" and had to add "privileged: true" to the docker compose stack. Now it works!

Do you know how to enable hardware decoding for 265 HEVC. RPI4 should do it, but under docker it doesn't work for me. It uses sofware decoding. Media in 264 format is reproduced with hardware decoding under docker.

Thank you so much for your tutorial! ive been struggling to link my media to plex for the last few days and your guide is SUPER clear and helpful. actually felt like i learnt a bit aswell rather than just mindlessly copy/pasting instructions and hoping for the best.

I seem to have an issue though as i check my logs to see if plex is running i get this error "sleep: cannot read realtime clock: Operation not permitted" any idea what ive done wrong?

Thanks again for this tutorial.. I would like to know what to do if I have to replace the media hard drive.. can I edit the stack with the new full folder address and recreate the plex container?

I wonder how to switch hard drives on plex installed in a container wothout having to deploy the stack again? because the new hard drive has a different ID in the system. I did clone the whole media hard drive where I have the media and the PLEX config files but it would be great if I just have to edit the location of the files and keeping the database intact... would this be possible?

It doesnt want me to add any media or setup the server. Just tells me to download plex media server... what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for this very good video series!! OK so i just tried this and i keep getting a weird error in the log of the plex container including: " libc++abi: terminating with uncaught exception of type std::__2::system_error: failed: Operation not permitted" (!!!) Any ideas?? Thanks again!

If Plex can be installed directly on Linux why did you install on PORTAINER ?
