Amazing video!
Thank you, mate.

For the ones looking for a way to import a file located in sharepoint ( in a different folder than "Documents") go directly to minute 05:42.

Thanks Avi! I really appreciate the thought you put into this video. Not all creators take the time to reflect and think about the specific problems newbies like myself could run into! Great video. Keep up the good work! :)

Creating reports from stuff in SharePoint is always an ask. This is so helpful.

This video saved me. Thanks so much for clearing up the jump to combine on SharePoint Folder data sources. When I was trying to refresh data it was breaking because I didn't use the method you showed to exclude all the junk I didn't want from the site so I would get no-key errors.

Excellent tutorial, worked perfectly for me. I implemented directly as a Dataflow in the Power BI service and the same method worked perfectly.

Hi Avi, I can't thank you enough for this great video mate. Trust me, I was just thinking about to ask you yesterday arvo to post a video on these 3 types of data sources - SharePoint folder, SharePoint Online List & SharePoint list and that's exactly when I got an intimation on my mobile that you've done this video. Nowhere had I found such a demarcating explanation, not even on Microsoft website! Thanks a million mate and as the saying goes.. "Sow Saal Jiyo" and a Happy Diwali. Kind regards, Bhoga

Thank you very much. This save me a lot of time that I use to spend on manual refresh.

Thank you, it helped a lot! Pity that Microsoft didn't separate reading Excel from SharePoint into a separate option in Get Data, as currently it is not intuitive at all, and I believe it is a very common task

there's a much easier way of opening a single file (excel etc.) located in sharepoint. Browse to the file, click the 3 dot menu for the file, click details, scroll down the details pane to find the document web path. Copy this url into Power BI as shown in the video.

Thank you THANK YOU THANK
Spend far to much time trying to get SharePoint Folders to work but in the end your explanation allowed me to achieve what I needed.
What would be great is if you could show the same data gather but from a DataFlow in the Services rather than in the Desktop. This being my ultimate aim.
Thanks Avi Power ON!
