In Pokemon...
Charizard weighs 199.5 lbs
Lucario weighs 119 lbs
Mewtwo weighs 269 lbs!
WHY IS HE AS LIGHT AS JIGGLYPUF WHO WEIGHS 12.1 lbs?!

The sad thing is, sometimes he really is lighter than Jigglypuff. I was doing Game & Watch testing with the 9 hammer and see how early they kill. From far, middle, and near the edge of Final D, Jigglypuff dies at 19%, 10%, 0% while Mewtwo actually dies a few percents earlier at 18%, 8% and 0%. A few percents isn't much, but he's still at some points easier to knock out that Jigglypuff.

Jigglypuff - 12.1 lbs

Pikachu - 13.2 lbs

Mewtwo - 269 lbs

So why the HELL is Pikachu not lighter than Mewtwo?

I really wish he gets a buff soon. I really enjoy this character. Hell he's my favourite legendary pokemon. But the fact that he's so light annoys me. I put up so much percent but then end up losing the stock before i can get the kill due to my limited combo game and weight class. Hopefully we see a buff soon..

Funny to see how they made Roy really good and Mewtwo as bad as he was in melee.

The one DLC character who was free in a giveaway turned out to be low-tier.
Suspicious, isn't it?

Mewtwo would be good if he wasn't bad.

Zero, I'm pretty sure that Mewtwo has one of the best kill-throws in the game.

Want to make Mewtwo better? JUST MAKE HIM HEAVIER, where the fuck did this "Mewtwo being light" come from? He weights 270 for fuck's sake, and has crazy defense on the Pokémon games. How are you able to knock down a Psychic Pokémon so easily on Smash? It doesn't make any sense.

Screw the haters, I play mewtwo and I'm good at it.
So yes, and no. He can be bad if you don't know how to play him. If you've spent your life having mewtwo as a main FOREVER, such as I, (I skipped brawl) you will be great with him.

I don't understand why mewtwo gets all of these nerfs in EVERY patch and no buffs! Like what the hell, he already struggled enough to begin with. Why is a 250 pound pokemon the second lightest character in smash???

What Mewtwo needs is to be a lot heavier. His grabs are fine even without one that doesn't guarantee a follow-up combo and yes, he does have a powerful up-throw that can kill so he has that going for him at least.

Just make Mewtwo a bit more heavier and a little less floaty.

Mewtwo required buffs:
*down throw combos
*up and back throw kill at around 95%-105%
*uptilt and Uair can juggle properly
*he becomes as light as fox
*Confusion comes out faster and has less lag

These thing would finnaly make m favourite pokemon go from zero to best...or at least A-

BTW why the hell is charizard still bottom tier after all the buffs?!

If Mewtwo were to get buffed, here are my ideas on what should happen.

1. Give Mewtwo 2% more damage on all attacks when shadow ball is fully charged (if thrown the 2% is back to zero)
2. Like robin in this patch, fix the down throw so its easier for true combo setups
3. (My opinion) Confusion should not be able to be teched out of so easily

I agree with everything you say. I was in a huge hype for Mewtwo, but in the end he is just as bad as he was in Melee. I pray for Nintendo to buff him greatly; at least make him a true glass cannon with moves that kill at 40%-60% at least.

I've been desperately trying to main Mewtwo since he came out. Took a little while before he finally clicked but he can do some amazing things. If you condition people to air dodge after Confusion or down throw, then you can charge an f-smash and catch them when they land. Killed plenty of people around 60% with that. Also, Jab 1 into Disable followed by a charged up-smash is awesome. At 0%, you can usually downtilt, f-air, fastfall u-air into up-smash for around 45%. And of course, it's always fun to use Shadow Ball from across the stage at someone who can reflect, then reflect it right back to them and absolutely destroy them.

I got used to his light weight (I survived up to 145% against an Ike on for glory once), but his huge hurtbox is annoying. I feel like his entire tail is a target and get hit from attacks that faced the opposite direction of where I'm standing all the time. And of course, Capt Falcon just wrecks me all day with the questionably large range his attacks.
