I purchased and installed the verybarista 58mm Shower Screen Upgrade Kit on Amazon (Spain) for the new Oracle JET. It fits.
I reused the existing bolt. The shower screen holder fits well.
I left the original white grouphead sealing (silicone gasket) in.
The blue grouphead sealing (silicone gasket) looked like it fits as well. I didn't bother trying though, since my machine is new.

Love the stainless steel heavy feel and quality.

The best upgrade is completely free - cut one loop on the spring in the OPV! If you still want to get these parts after that, then good on ye' mate!

Just checking. I have a Barista Pro and replaced both the upper shower screen and the portafilter basket with the 54mm IMS versions. There is no upper plastic dispersion screen on the Barista Pro though, right?

I’m wondering if the shower screen replacement makes any difference if you already use a puck screen. The upgraded shower screen looks a lot like my puck screen and it seems to do the same thing: disperse water more evenly.

I have an Breville Oracle as well and did the upgrades but I also bought VST baskets and for the life of me I can't believe it's the same coffee machine. I can't believe Breville couldn't do this particularly for the price that they charge for the coffee machine.

i would like to do this but I just can't remove the screw it is locked tight any ideas on getting it out without melting the machine its a phillips screw on a breville bes250 cheers

When building a new house I selected GE CAFE appliances, and when I discover there was a matching expresso machine nearly identical in appearance and function to the Breville at half the price I bought one for $530 US. It appears to designed by Breville for GE.

The CAFE machine is programmable for grind time, water temp and shot volume for both single and double shots via an app on the phone which also monitors and can control functions on other CAFE appliances such as the refrigerator, range and oven, and microwave. It sends notices for low water level and the need to descale every 70 liters of use via the app. All the other machines with similar program interfaces are twice the price making it a great value as an entry level machine.

I have a dual boiler however my Dad has a touch one, I just watched your video on the Oracle saying the grinder is shit. What do you think (with the upgrades) is a better machine? The dual boiler or the touch one? I was only going to change to the touch as it’s slightly smaller but the steam wand is not as good as the dual boiler as with the porta-filter. Can I ask your opinion on what Breville I should use? Thank you! Your video’s are bloody awesome 😊

I replaced the plastic shower screen with the stainless steel and also the silicone ring but reused the default lower shower screen. However, I now experience leakage despite reinstalling multiple times. I suspect my group head itself is slightly damaged because the portafilter is harder to fit in even without any coffee grind. What is wrong with my machine?
