You need to get that drainage sorted out the back asap as it’s such a time waster having to deal with it every time it rains. Besides it would give the area a chance to dry out…much more pleasant for working.❤

I think that your Detlef has to dig a bit deeper in his pockets to hire a larger crew to build his retaining wall. It seems to me that this is too much an ask for 2 men.

I think that it is normal to feel a bit overwhelmed so once in a while when you are doing a project like that. But it seems to me that you are going in the right direction. Rome wasn't build in a single day either. The property from your friend is nice, but for that asking price there is an awful lot of choice in Portugal, even completely renovated turn key properties with a similar amount or even more land. So I wish him luck with selling it.
