It's the best thing you will ever hear. No matter your views on business, politics or climate change, it is very enjoyable hearing someone at the senior level of a listed company share their honest thoughts and opinions. I'm sure many viewers will be quick to jump in the comments to criticise on whatever views they have etc, but just remember that this is the very reason no one speaks their minds anymore. Everyone is scared of the keyboard warriors and political correctness. Chill the fuck out and just enjoy this unfiltered, uncensored, unscripted podcast that is very, very real and refreshing. You don't have to like it or agree with it but just remember the reason your sleeping so well at night (and haven't yet died of a heart attack) is because of this man. Cheers

I'm happy my dad has the resmed 11 ! It's been a life changer for him! His sleep apnea was so bad that he was nodding off by the middle of the day and ever since getting his resmed he is full of energy again and responding well to therapy! It's a blessing seeing him get his quality of life back.

Nico, I agree with you that it is good to hear what PF thinks. But I think that is where our agreement stops. This bloke is so utterly typical of the ethos of the ruling class: “Me and my family get everything, the rest of you can fight over the little that is left.” His contempt for his fellow humans is obvious. His entire great life was made possible by people who pay taxes in Australia and America. How does he repay that? By moving all his manufacturing to Singapore and refusing to pay his fair share of taxes to the places where he lives. His claims to be a libertarian are also typical. It is sickening, really. Look at ResMed. When he stepped down, who did they find to replace him after a global search? Well what do you know, good ole Mick, PF’s very own son was the best qualified candidate among the world’s other 6 billion people! I guess nepotism is a libertarian value. His views on climate change are also risible. 35 years ago the chief scientist of NASA, James Hansen, warned the US Congress about it. Do you think NASA isn’t “data driven”? How does he like the wildfires and bleaching of the GBR? And he thought Clinton was a bigger liar than Trump? It beggars belief. Finally, he says Obama set back race relations 50 years? How exactly? But maybe there was another reason for his dislike? Could it be he was mad that Obama’s US Department of Justice caught them making kickbacks and forced them to pay $40 million? Or maybe it was because Obamacare lowered rates and therefore took a little gravy out of the gravy train? The whole interview reveals what an utterly deplorable and contemptible person he is.

I just started watching this channel and have benefitted greatly from the information provided. I have been using the Resmed 10 CPAP for about 6 years and just switched to the 11. My big problem is that I have been experiencing earaches for about 8 months. These episodes included dizziness and a bout with Bell's Palsy. Since I didn't know this problem could be caused by the CPAP, I went to my ENT, who treated me with antibiotics, which helped a little until treatment ended. The only time I had relief was during the period when I was waiting for my new CPAP and was not using the old one. My Pulmonologist refused to lower the pressure on my old CPAP when I complained that it was so high it was literally blowing the mask off of my face. With Nick's guidance, I have been able to lower the pressure a bit and still get good therapy results; however, my ears are still bothering me on a daily basis. Any help on this would be gratefully welcomed. Thanks!

I had a Phillips for a trial but insisted on getting the Resmed when it came time to buy a machine. Even though it was more expensive, I'm glad I got it.

I was swinging which way to go, Resmed or the German-made machine (need more airflow). After this, I'd prefer to distance myself from this guy. He's a classic intelligent person who thinks he's right and all others are wrong until proven right. The problem with people like this is they miss their own bias in analysing any contradicting data. It can become useless to try and introduce a conflicting point of view. Must be a joy to work with.

It this sort of arrogance from the CEO that results in a b grade product. Look at the Resmed11 - cheap junk fan and no improvement in algorithm. Meanwhile the Prisma 20a is the same price and a much better product. Resmed will become the next Nokia with the attitude of that CEO. Bragging about his profit margin while complaining about paying his workers a decent salary.. I'm sure he'd like to have some slaves as well.

I wasn’t surprised by his hot shot arrogance te the company motivation but his personal arrogance seems to know no bounds! Sadly these are the kinds of people that are running our lives. F*#%¥€! I'm no lefty but heaps of that didn't age well, not to mention a heavy dose of half truths... Australia is faaar from world leading in D&i metrics and with environmental reform. Very interesting and entertaining, but Im taking a hefty amount of scepticism once politics started to be spoken about.

Super successful businessman... But unsure where he got his masters in International Geopolitics... And a bit on the racist grampa side of things...

I can't listen to this muppet. For someone that totes being data driven and ignores the clear evidential data in front of us regarding CO2 and global warming (note:: different to historical climate change) he doesn't sound any different to any other CEO I've come across. He digs into EVs and all that crap that I agree with, but all I smell here is someone who is very adept at saying what he thinks will convince the majority that what he is saying is fact. It's clearly not.

I removed the foam both from brand-new Dreamstation 1 and Dreamstation Go, and think either is a better machine than the current Resmeds. Others can say what they please, of course.

The comment about ice cores is not correct. The oldest cores which come from Antarctica are about 800, 000 years old. I am sure the speaker is a good business man and knows his business inside and out. He is not a climate scientist. Those experts agree we are changing our planets temperature faster than it ever has happen in the past except when the asteroid hit the earth killing off the Dinosaurs. Good lesson for me, stay in my expertise, depend on the real experts on other issues.
