Got my Airsense 10 this past Friday. I was a mild case getting 12 events per hour. I am down to 1-2 per hour now. So, for me, this is a big difference. The medical supply rep set mine up and I tried multiple mask types to see what I liked. I went with the F30 model for the mask. The nasal pillows are comfortable with this mask and I have a tendency to breathe out of my mouth (trying to get better about this) so having the mask cover my mouth helps keep my throat from hurting. I have the humidity level set to 2. That seems to be a good balance for me. The pressure setting is 5-15 on the device. Breathe in through nose and out. At first, the pressure when exhaling was a bit strong, but after the 3rd night I got use to it. I also use the app to read data and it works great. The humidifier for me is filled to max. I clean it with vinegary and warm water per the instructions. The mask and tubing I use warm water with Dawn soap. This seems to work well. I hope my post helped some folks.

I was diagnosed today with Severe Sleep Apnea. My home test showed I stopped breathing 88 times in 1 hour. So my Doctor recommended I get on the CPAP machine. I’ve heard people that use it say it is the best sleep you ever had. So I should receive mine in a couple weeks. Wish me Luck with this.

I have been using the CPAP machine for few weeks and it has been a God send. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea after a sleep study this year. I no longer feel sleepy during the day and my need for naps has decreased significantly. I feel much less depressed and enjoy doing the fun things again, like bike riding. Most nights I sleep all through the night with no interuptions. Thanks ResMed!

Got mine today. Pretty straightforward. Had 242 events within 2.5 hrs of in person sleep study before they stopped test and began a machine same study.

I can already feel the difference after 5.5hrs of use. First time in months I slept more than 2.5hrs without waking up gasping for air, racing heart, and pouring sweat.

Should of done this 25 years ago, was so stubborn to consider importance til I felt it was life and death.

Well, better late than never, such a simple easy fix that will better life in so many forms

I am 56 and have been using my machine for the past 5 nights. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea at 70 events per hour. I must say I’ve noticed an improvement in my sleep already and I feel much better. If you’re in doubt try it you have nothing to lose.

Had machine for 2 weeks now love it more than my old machine which is 10+ years old. Mask with Foam seal is much more comfortable. I also like magnetic strap attachments much easer to put on and take off

I really love having the CPAP machine 2 things I would really love to see them fix is maybe make it easier to put water in every night and the second is maybe having an alert when your about to run out of water

Had mine for a few weeks now and love it!

This machine is completely quiet and is easy to use. The controls and overall design were obviously carefully thought out. It is a quality built machine.

I use an Airfit N20 nose piece which is soft and comfortable to wear. The hose unclips/clips easily whenever I need to get up in the night.

Sure it took a few nights to get used to it but, it is no longer an issue and I fall asleep fast.

Compared to machines 10+ years ago, this machine is light years ahead. Highly recommend!

I've had mine for 18 months - was suppied without humidifier and with a full size face mask. No problem setting it up, no leakage problems or noises. In time the straps stretch a little with use but takes 2 seconds to tighten the velcro. It is a fantastic product and I am shocked to read some negative comments, nor can I understand why some have difficulties with the headgear - it's all pretty obvious, I think. Very highly recommended, regardless of others' comments. It does a great job for me and I am sleeping much better !
Thank you Resmed and my Sleep Apnea cliic in Surrey UK

I am 71 years old and have been using a CPAP machine for over 20 years. Currently I use the RESMED air sense 10 and I have used this for over 5 or 6 years. Until a month ago I was using a full face mask and I was having 15 to 20 events per hour.
Last month I came across a vlog called Why we breathe by Patrick McKeown. He basically says that we should breathe through our noses. The reason is that this filters the air, pressurises it, heats it and moisturises it. He says that you should start your day with breathing exercises, Breathe in for 5 seconds, hold for 5, exhale for 5 and hold for 5 annd do this for 10 minutes. He suggested that when you sleep you should tape your mouth shut.
I did this and my AHI events went from 15 to 6 or almost 150 percent reduction. I was discussing this with my brother who also uses the same machine as me but uses a nasal mask. He told me that his events per hour were 2 or 3 maximum.
Based on this I changed to a nasal mask and the outcome was spectacular. My events went to less than 1 an hour. I still use the tape, a medical tape to reduce any allergic reaction. Sometimes when I wake up I think I have fallen asleep and forgotten to put on the nasal mask but then touch around my nose and find I have it on. This is how comfortable it is. My dreaming has exploded because I very rarely dreamt when I used the Full face mask, but now it is a fairly common event. I hope this helps people with sleep apnoea.

I have been using this unit for 2 years. Now.. My AHI was 39. Could not sleep, gasping upon awaking, brain fog, all the normal stuff..nearly all my symptoms GONE.. I cannot seem to wear a full mask so I’m using a nasal pillow which works for me consistently. Easy to maintain, easy to clean..

After 76 events per hour (severe obstruct sleep apnea) iv had my machine just over a year and it’s just amazing I’d never go back now after having to have 3 hours nap day time was so draining now I don’t sleep at all in the day love it 👏🏻👍🏻

It would help to name the parts in your diagrams: elbow, masks, tubing, headgear, etc, etc. And the sizes for masks (S, M, L) in inches
