i5 shorted PCH overheating under ipa and microscope

How to identify a shorted section of a IC die using alcohol (IPA, isopropyl alcohol, ISO). Notice the bubbles from the shorted section as well as the convection currents shown by the dust particles flying about. Used a cheap eBay microscope, a bottle lid with a hole cut in it to hold the ipa in and hot glue to prevent it from leaking out over the rest of the chip.
