I am Catholic and I don't think the Pope should have slapped the woman's hand. Not everyone would have reacted the way the Pope did, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion

I remember along time ago a Dying Soldier grabbed the Hand of a Priest in the Middle of Gun Fire. The Priest did not Slap the Soldiers hand to escape. The Priest stayed and Comforted the Soldier While Bullets flew past him. It brings me Pain to she the Pope Slap her. To her She might have lost her Faith. The Pope is a Big Symbol and to Be Slapped and denied by that Symbol can Cause great Damage to Humans Faith & Hope.

I see both sides, once in lifetime thing and the lady was filled with adrenalin and emotion. He was about to walk right passed her. But obviously it's wrong to grab him. And it seemed like he was startled and was trying to defend himself.
