It may require you to manually reorganize the light after maintenance if the code refuses to automatically resolve. Check engine light could be fixed by utilizing a code scanner. This may not be applicable for cars manufactured before 1996. For these automobiles, all they have to do is just to sever connections from the battery to reset the light.

If your check engine light refuses to go off after you’ve turn it on, the fault may be from your car’s computer. None of this disables the light. It simply resets it.

I was born in the 1950s and grew up in the 1960s In the UK. Cars were basic and understandable. Now here both our cars start and drive fine. Both have engine warning lights on. Here in Finland, it gets pretty cold in the winter. Both our cars got this problem when they suddenly got to sit in some wet then freezing weather changing in the same few days. We are pretty poor so just now too little money to get professional help. If the car starts the first time, has no exhaust oddities, and drives perfectly then it's got to be some electrical sensor that does not like getting cold(maybe I am wrong) or a faulty electrical connection or sensor. Anyway, I am searching and waiting for my Russian mechanic buddy to return from his Philippine trip he should be able to give me some advice.
