HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

Love a Reddit post I read where a user (survivor813) made the point that the missions in an operation should affect the overall operation. Like doing an eradicate mission first would affect/reduce the patrols in the remaining missions. Or sabotaging the dropship manufacturer would affect/reduce the incoming dropships, ect

There was a laser shotgun (LAS-13 Trident) and also a suppressed SMG called the SMG-34 Ninja in the first Helldivers. It's basically a clone of the real-life H&K MP5SD and fired faster than the Defender SMG.

Honestly as for the assault rifles, a weapon progression system may help with that - being able to unlock upgrades like larger magazines would do wonders to helping some of the struggling weapons, while also allowing people to get that sense of satisfaction from playing with their favorite guns and other favorite guns.

"I dont know if it needs a buff" My dude: the purifier has the same damage as the plasma punisher with the same stagger. That gun one shots only the tiniest things and launchest the others around like ragdolls while still letting them walk. What benefit do you get other than a flat bullet arc do you get for charging your shot up for a second when you can put 3 our in that time with the plasma punisher. That gun in particular is proof that nobody even compared stats to the other guns let alone play tested it. Use the plasma punisher on anything but the smallest of chaff for me. An count every single shot as a second. Tell me what's the average kill time on a Brood Commander? Or even a Berserker

The magazines are missing in the trailer because it was all done in post-production effects. The Ministry of Recruitment just made it look exciting. But they would never actually throw new recruits directly into an active war zone to get footage to hype up new recruits. That would be far too dangerous. So they added in all the battle shots and enemies digitally in post-production effects.

Larva backpack is 100% bugged. Every single time I've taken it along there's never any additional breaches happening. Leave it at the extraction zone and almost the entire mission becomes a snooze fest. Probably because they're spawning near it? Definitely needs to be looked into.

The game feels challenging but not impossible now. Meaning you can easily get swarmed and overwhelmed but now your weapons actually feel powerful enough to get you out of any situation.

PLAS-101 Purifier: The charge time for the level of damage this gun deals is woefully unbalanced, Either the charge time needs to be cut in half or the damage increased by a bare MINIMUM of 100 to 150 for a total of 350 to 400 damage.

When it comes to guns like this, there is a Damage to Charge Time Ratio that must be respected in order to achieve Fun, Sadly most of the charge up weapons failed to do so BUT, the Rail Gun, The Arc Thrower and the Blitzer all got buffed on the 17th fixing their flaws. Somehow the Purifier slipped through the cracks. Currently the SG-8P Punisher Plasma renders the Purifier obsolete entirely, not because the Punisher Plas is too good, but because the purifier as is does not offer anything unique or shine in any area of use while it has the same damage value. What I suggested would fix that without making the Purifier outshine its counterparts, the way its counterparts currently outshine the Purifier.

Mt prediction - they bayonet rifle is going to come in the next warbond along with those trophy/ tribal skins that were leaked a good while back

They need to fix join mechanics. If someone leaves during the mission nobody replaces them for eternity even with a deployed SOS signal. And moreover if you just want to join an ongoing game you have to bruteforce clicking through like 5 to 10 missions because either its "lobby is already full" or "this lobby is private ???" or some weird stuff going on, very annoying

We need weapon customization, with perhaps purchasable attachments via requisition slips, or warbonds specific to a certain weapon. the Breaker would get its own warbond type of page to spend medals to unlock new magazines, muzzles, scopes, etc.
