Developers 'Cherry on Top' Changes in Helldivers 2

The SFX for some weapons and stratagems were changed and they sound much better now, also some fun additions were introduced in this patch.

Just found out from the comments that Scorcher has changed SFX as well! And Railgun now gives you a different whistling sound when almost fully charged in unsafe mode!

Tbh I’ve enjoyed the game even before all this, however all the updates plus the emote wheel (my favorite) are definitely making it more enjoyable

Another great sfx change, the railgun now has a much more audible charging sound while in unsafe mode.

The new sickle sound is so sick. Sounds like a Star Wars blaster. I love it.

I kinda liked the original sickle sfx. But I do like the new one. I kinda wish the laser sound was maybe a bit lower pitch or a little quieter. Either way, it's still probably going to be my main weapon.

I always loved gas strike, now using it on a swarm of bugs and seeing them swipe randomly and kill eachother is hilarious

The sickle sounds sick!

I used it last night, but didn’t notice the new audio. Just knew it felt different.

When I first opened fire with my Sickle last night I was very pleasantly surprised! I liked the punchy sound of the old audio but I always preferred if it actually sound like an energy weapon.

the spear can now lock onto drop ships, I am so grateful, when I first realized this it felt like I had the power of a god in my hands

The moment I heard the new SFX for the Sickle, I mained it immediately. Shit feels like the DC-15 blaster rifle from The Clone Wars now.

before the gas strike was already good, now it's just god tier
now I cant think of any situation you would take the smoke strike

the shield tower now makes a sick sound when hit by automatons lasers

I like every new sound except the lasgun. I really liked the meatier thunk thunk. Made it seem like there was some crazy mechanical stuff going on inside or something
