In Photoshop CC we have a powerful feature called “Refine Edge” which will help you create complex selections with ease. I will cover some of the things I love about this tool in this tutorial, but I’m also going to talk about some of where it has flaws. Overall it’s a great tool, but if you know when to use it and when another method would be better, it becomes an even more powerful feature!

A suggestion - instead of adjusting the blacks for the entire mask (at the end of the video), you can select and adjust only the parts which show the old background bleeding through. This way you are not adjusting parts that are fine. Thanks for another good video. Cheers!

Great Video again, but one question. How do you have deactivated the Mask with one click?

I belive, working on a mask with a brush set to Hard mix(rather than soft light) blend mode and opacity around 10% giving slightly better results. Thanks for video!!!

It is a good tool. I use it often. Good video. I still prefer Topaz Remask 5 though.
