Fun idea as you begin your OB-Gyn career: start a delivery bead jar! For each delivery put a pink or blue bead corresponding to the gender of the baby or a white bead for any angel babies. This is something I wish I had done when I started as a L&D nurse!

I remember having my daughter. The doctor that delivered her was on her first shift and my baby was her first delivery! Was such an amazing moment ❤️ i cannot wait to hear all about your first baby you deliver!

You should start a jar with pink, blue and white beads for all the babies you help enter the world ❤❤ tie twin beads together. Could be so neat to see it fill up.

I’ve dreamt of being an OBGYN since I was a child. Obviously as I got older many things changed & I let people get into my head as well. Now I’m 22 and I’m back to the og plan. It’s either that or becoming a psychiatrist. I love watching these videos and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

YEAH !! so exciting!! I'm internal medicine (did my residency '94-97). Watching your vids brings back so many memories! I can see you are full of energy and excited. My advice: learn as much as you can this first year as next year you will have interns under you that you will have to supervise so learning this year is soooo important.!!
