My first week of PM&R (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) residency is finished and it feels so good to be done with intern year and finally in my specialty of choice!

This video highlights some moments from my first week on the brain injury service and one particular instance that highlights the difference between a medical service and the rehab service and why the transition can be tricky.

This is amazing! I'm currently an MS2, and this provided a lot of insight. I was working with new PM&R residents at SRAL back in July, so seeing this definitely made me realize how hard you all work. Keep up the PM&R videos :) I'm a big supporter, as I'm extremely interested in pursuing PM&R!!!

How has your call overall in PM&R differed from call during your IM year?
Also, are there any differences in how admissions work?

Hey there! I just want to say thank you for the video you made about nontraditional med students. I recently want to become a doctor and I'm a nontraditional pre med. I was wondering if you met people who got their pre med degree at a community college and is now in med school? There is not many videos touching on community college pre meds. If you can make a video on community college pre meds I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks again! You have a new subscriber!

Hi Dr Sutterer, how can I specialize in pediatric rehabilitation? Do I still need to undergo pediatrics residency? Or is PM&R residency and a subsequent fellowship on pediatric rehab the path to it? Thank you
