A vector can be described with different basis vectors - and the transformation between different basis vectors can be done with matricies.

Hi Dr. Underwood. Riveting videos. Thank you. At about the 5.51 mark you might have pointed out that for 3D not only do you need 3 non-parallel vectors to form a basis but that they must not be co-planar.

I am curious. Are these videos done in real-time. Can you really write as quickly as you ar talking in these? I know it is a trivial question but I am doing a masters and reckon I should use my intuos pro wacom to record my solution set. I much prefer the black on white presentation you use compared with so many others looking like the Khan academy videos. Anyway have you published how you make your videos?

Is it a wacom cintiq or an intuos pro and what are your settings and software that gets such a lovely job done.
