I've played many times at Furnace Creek Golf Course in 129 degrees....It's a dry you drink alot, and I mean alot of water. Like any extreme golf courses, you need to get into the what the environment presents you. A great track for playing golf that presents many challenges for a short golf course.

Hopefully you can make it through all 18 holes! They have to keep the grass long on the greens and other closely mown areas because if they didn't the grass would burn and die because of the heat if it wasn't constantly watered. So the greens are long and slow so they don't have to use as much water and they still actually have grass on them. Just something I thought you might find interesting!

I'd love to play that course. It'd be cool to play that much below sea level. I'm not going to make a special trip just from VA to play it, but if/when I happen to be out that way, I definitely will.
