Hip modification and chipped wrist repair on a Feeple65 BJD

Now that Rune's modifications are done (and I'll be showing him off all put together next week, I think!) it's time to move on to the other project dolls I have waiting for me! I ran a poll on Instagram to see who people wanted to see, and it ended up being an extremely likely 3-way tie between Kyt and the new kid versions of Rune and Firal. Kyt's been waiting for her doll version longest, though, so while I'll try to mix things up and give everyone some screen time across the next few weeks, she gets to go first.

Today I'm tackling modifications and repairs, improving her ability to sit, fixing her broken wrist, cleaning off some stains from sitting on something dark, and restringing her so she can now stand. It was a good week of progress, and I'll be making plans to do her eye opening modification soon... unless something amazing happens and an open-eyed faceplate appears on the secondhand market across the next week or so.

When ever restringing my dolls I keep thinking I'm about to lose a finger while holding the elastic. Also the repair on the wrist is fantasticly done wouldn't of known it was slightly chipped

These mods turned out so well! Bravo~ This subtractive mod on the thigh socket and string channel seems so accessible! I just acquired a dremel, so I may have to keep this in mind for a future weekend.

And i think restringing my Iplehouse EID boy is bad. it took me and my sister like fifteen minutes to get him back together cause his new string was awfully tight.
Stands like a rock now though, even though his ankles are.... questionable.

Hi ...loving your videos ...I accidentally over sanded my bjds face ....and made a hole in her chin 😩😢I used milliput to fill and cover hole I need to match the patch to the rest of face
I di not do much customising so ideally I don't want to buy an air brush gun ....can you recommend a good way to paint this area and are acrylic paints OK to use over milliput what's a good way to apply paint over this area without a help would be appreciated....thanks for the videos ....p.s the doll is a blythe 😁
