No need to remind you that dynamic array functions are working only with office 365, if you are using any other version of the excel, you won’t be able to practice the exercise in this video
In this video we are going to look again at the filter function, we are going to see an advanced example of how to filter a table of data based on text search that can be performed in 3 different modes :
Exact search: 2:46
Contains: 9:43
And begin with: 12:58
At the end of we are going to use the Choose function to blend all 3 filter methods in one formula: 16:13
While working on the example we are going to discuss some other functions beside filter such as:
indirect, search, isNumber, left, Len, and choose
