And lo, since I love Neena's videos so much, I spent a literal hour and a half writing this story of my take on AMANDA THE ADVENTURER! This legit might be the longest story I have ever wrote, this took me 5 and a half hours so if you read it all I would sincerely appreciate it, and also be astronomically flabbergasted and if you don't fall unconscious by the time you are half way through YOUR WELCOME, also a little warning, prepare yourself before you press read more, this is my longest story and my most proudest, I expect lots of comments below saying, IM NOT GOING TO READ ALL THAT, but I came prepared this time with a lot more than I usually bring to the table and this time I had to shorten it because youtube didn't allow me to post something that big lmao XD -


*The rain hammered down relentlessly on the roof of Neena's inherited house, each drop a percussive note in the chaotic symphony of the stormy 1980s night. Neena, better known as ForeverNeena to her friends for her love of video games and retro tech, was lounging in the dusty, dimly lit attic. She had inherited this house from her Aunt Kate, a reclusive woman she barely remembered but had heard countless eerie stories about. The storm outside seemed to amplify the eerie atmosphere within the old house, creating an aura of foreboding that Neena couldn't shake. She was surrounded by a clutter of antiques, forgotten memories stored in old boxes, and relics of a bygone era. Among these artifacts, her attention was drawn to a stack of VHS tapes next to an ancient TV set. The tapes were neatly labeled with dates from the early 2000s, but the titles were cryptic and unfamiliar. Neena's curiosity got the better of her, and she decided to explore this hidden trove. As she dusted off the tapes, a yellowed envelope slipped out from between them. Her name was scrawled on the front in a familiar yet distant handwriting. With trembling hands, she opened the envelope to find a letter from her Aunt Kate. The letter revealed that before her death, she had been investigating a series of disappearances connected to a local access television show. The letter warned Neena that if she wanted to uncover the truth, she had to watch the tapes, starting with the one resting next to the TV. However, it came with a dire warning: once she started watching, there would be no turning back. Neena hesitated, the sound of thunder rumbling ominously in the background. The weight of her aunt's words hung heavy in the air, but her curiosity was insatiable. She slid the first tape into the VCR and pressed play. The screen flickered to life, and she was greeted by the disarming animated duo of Amanda and her pal, Wooly the Sheep. Something about the way Amanda looked directly at her through the screen sent a chill down her spine. The episode began innocuously enough with Wooly attempting to communicate something urgent before Amanda appeared, cheerfully interrupting him. They greeted Neena warmly, as though they knew she was watching. Amanda then announced they were getting meat for their grandma, despite Wooly's protest that she was a vegetarian. Amanda asked where the butcher was, and Neena, testing the waters, chose the ice cream store. It vanished instantly, leaving only the butcher shop. Inside the shop, Amanda greeted the butcher and asked Neena to tell him what they needed. When Neena hesitated, Amanda's smile faltered, and she forced her to say "meat." As the butcher began cutting the meat, Amanda's head slowly turned toward Wooly, her smile disappearing, causing Wooly to visibly shudder. The episode ended abruptly, leaving Neena with a sense of unease. Determined to unravel the mystery, Neena continued watching. The next episode featured Amanda and Wooly making an apple pie. Amanda asked Neena about her favorite kind of pie, agreeing with her regardless of her answer. When Neena tested by saying "organs" and "human, " Amanda's agreement took on a sinister tone, visibly unsettling Wooly. Amanda then asked for help finding a sharp knife to cut the apples. Despite Wooly's discomfort, Amanda used the knife unsupervised, and when Neena answered incorrectly about where to find the sugar, Amanda's annoyance grew, causing the incorrect options to vanish. The pie episode continued with Amanda and Wooly baking the pie, Amanda mentioning that she was unsure where the adults were but proceeded anyway. As they celebrated their freshly baked pie, Neena felt a growing sense of dread. The third tape found Amanda and Wooly in front of a corner store, bakery, and post office. Amanda wanted to send something special to a friend, asking Neena to point her to the corner store. Neena's incorrect choices annoyed Amanda until she finally chose correctly. Inside, Amanda chose a card for her friend, becoming increasingly irritated with Neena's mistakes. She then sought a treat for her friend at the bakery, reacting aggressively to incorrect answers. After buying cookies, Amanda wanted to mail the package but forgot her friend's name, desperately asking Neena for help. When Neena correctly answered with her Aunt Kate's name, Amanda's joy was chilling. The following tape showed Amanda and Wooly having a picnic. Amanda asked Neena about her favorite picnic food, but her answers didn't please her. Wooly complained about a smell, leading them to a moldy sandwich. Amanda explained rot and death, showing Neena a dead fox and asking what killed it. Amanda revealed the bear trap and stated ominously how the fox didn't know what got him until it was too late. Wooly, distressed, tried to steer the conversation back to the picnic, but Amanda pushed on, asking if everything rots. When Neena hesitated, Amanda's anger grew, and she made Wooly disappear, forcing Neena to say "Yes." Amanda's response hinted at something terrible being too late. In the penultimate tape, Amanda and Wooly visited a petting zoo. Amanda mocked Wooly and asked Neena to mimic animal sounds. Amanda explained how animals differed from humans, ignoring Wooly's protests. She showed Neena a kitten without a family, asking if she would help it. When Neena refused, Amanda's anger turned into sobbing, the surroundings distorting as she transformed into a monster, eventually breaking into Neena's attic and raging before her, the multitudinous eyes swirling and viciously screaming with the echoes of past victims squirming inside the entity as with one final step it was breathing down Neena's neck, and blood piling from its lips as it opened its mortifying jaw. But as the monstrous Amanda closed in, something within the house shifted. A disembodied voice echoed through the attic, a calm yet firm tone that pierced through the storm outside and the terror within. "You cannot stop yet, Neena. You must end the cycle. Find the truth." Neena's vision blurred and darkened, but she felt herself moving, almost as if guided by an unseen force. She staggered toward a door that had inexplicably appeared at the far end of the attic. As she grasped the handle, the door swung open, and a blinding light enveloped her. She felt a rush of vertigo as she was transported away from the attic's dark confines. When she opened her eyes again, she found herself back in her Aunt Kate's apartment, the storm outside still raging. The familiar surroundings were unsettlingly silent, save for the soft hum of the TV. On the floor in front of the TV lay one final tape. Neena's heart pounded as she picked it up, the label reading "Mr. Fox." Taking a deep breath, Neena inserted the tape into the VCR and pressed play. The screen flickered to life, showing Amanda alone, sitting on a couch, drawing a picture of Mr. Fox caught in the bear trap. She looked up at Neena, her eyes devoid of the warmth from the earlier episodes. "Friends share many things, Neena, " she said, her voice eerily calm. "Secrets, toys, even snacks." She opened a lunchbox filled with bizarre, unsettling items and asked which she would like. Neena's hand hovered over the options, a sense of finality settling over her. She chose an item, and Amanda smiled, though it didn't reach her eyes. She leaned in closer to the screen, her voice dropping to a whisper. "Friends also share secrets. Do you want to hear mine?" Neena felt a cold shiver run down her spine. She knew this was it—the culmination of everything she had endured. She nodded slowly. Amanda's expression changed, her eyes darkening. "I'm out there, somewhere, " she said, her voice echoing as the TV began to glitch and distort. The screen flickered wildly, and for a moment, Neena saw what appeared to be a shadowy figure trapped behind the screen, trying to escape. The room grew colder, the lights dimming as the TV's distortion intensified. The creature wrapped its arms on the TV screen and, using the dark matter of terror flooding Neena's brain, started to crawl through the holographic screen into reality, grinning as blood covered the TV, eventually drying into a message of unsettling finality: "I found you." Neena knew this was the end. She was going to die here alone, and she was never able to even briefly avenge her Aunt Kate. But then that voice appeared again, "End the cycle, Neena. End it." With a sudden burst of determination, Neena grabbed a nearby brick and hurled it at the TV. The screen shattered with a deafening crash, and the room was plunged into darkness. For a moment, all was silent. Then, as the storm began to subside, the oppressive atmosphere lifted. Neena, breathing heavily, looked around the room. The tapes lay in ruins, their secrets exposed and their curse broken. The nightmare had ended, but Neena knew her life would never be the same. The horrors of Amanda and Wooly's twisted world were forever etched into her memory, but she had found the truth and ended the cycle. She had faced the darkness and emerged, scarred but alive, ready to reclaim her life* .
