Thank you Dani! I made the breakfast bulgur, and it was wonderful! I"m now -as I type, it's in a simmering stage- trying the same idea with buckwheat (I soaked overnight 1st), and this is also smelling and looking wonderful as I'm making it. Buckwheat uses a slightly different timing, but it is very similar. Thank

I happened to stumble upon bulgur wheat one day when we decided to make tabouli. Now I eat it regularly because it’s so easy to make and nutritious!

Bulgur makes the best fried rice!!! If you are ever too lazy to wait for rice, just fry cooked bulgur up with veggies, egg, and soy sauce and voila! Instant fried rice.

hi
I am Turkish, Bulgur is our main staple food, more popular than rice .You can find lots of recipes made of bulgur ( mercimek köfesi -lentil meatballs, içli köfte, kısır are most famous of them.
.It was interesting to see it as breakfast cereal - we don't eat this way usually our breakfast is cheese tea olives etc, cereals are not popular .We cook it as rice (bulgur pilavı ) with meat in broth and have yogurt ayran onions with it.
loved your gorgonzola bulgur salad
thank you

Lebanese dish called pumpkin Kibbeh which is so yummy.  Uses bulgar and pumpkin to make a dough and is stuffed with spinach spices and nuts and deep fried.  It's so yummy

This was the only thing available at my local grocery store. The shoppers ran on everything else. I was actually there for barley. But ended up picking up bulgur. It's a new world we're living in. I'm excited to make it after watching your video!

Thanks for the great info on bulgar!! I will try both recipes soon. I just started eating buckwheat and absolutely love it. Bulgar is next on the list. Maybe it's just me, but I'm eating these simple vitamin rich foods and can tell I'm doing my body good. It's such an impact that there is no way I could go back in eating the junk I use to consume. Thanks for sharing.

Thx for this wonderful explanation on Bulgar - I see different videos and some were cooking it on the stove and others just adding hot water - Cheers 🍁

You are a very smart and kind woman Dani, because you showed me close to what the bulgur is. I've never known how did it look, or what it was. Thank you.

I'm a lazy single male, so love a single saucepan deal: bulgar + water, simmer covered till it just starts drying out, add chopped watercress or other leaf salad, chopped fresh tomatoes, bit of lemon juice & serve with smoked salmon or just about anything. For extra excitement stir in any other salady stuff you like - chopped beetroot, bell peppers... And just one pan to wash:)

I'm Lebanese, I just subscribed and I have been binging your videos!!! I'm so glad you shone a spotlight on burgul 💌 tabboule is by far my favorite salad and traditionally burgul was eaten with all the stews in the Lebanese cuisine (nowadays it's rice). It has a low GI index and is extremely filling and delicious and is a cousin of freekeh the green wheat which is also healthy
I also love the straberry tabboule recipe idea!!! It sounds like a really yummy innovation 😍😍😍
