this is so 100% true. For me, what made me quit was having much too high expectations in my diet or goals - my first diet consisted in the belief: I must starve myself and I only ate about 200g of plain rice for some days - which led of course to binging once my willpower was over. It's just shortly that I realized that I had to take into account where I'm standing at the moment and to stop comparing myself to others. For example: everyone has his or her own BMR and I won't get any closer to my goals, if I don't stick to my personal "numbers" or lets say, the things that are doable for me - no matter what other people eat or do throughout their day. I created my own journal too and I stick to it for 3 months now successfully - I write down what went good or bad and evaluate, whether I fullfill my expectations or whether I'm trying again too hard and have to make smaller steps first. I hope this comment is readable. I was very touched by this video. Thank you! :-)

I read this on a book like 7 months ago, and was shocked by it, but i forgot about it and got reshocked today. Its a subconscious thing, and its important to give yourself achievable small goals at first, so that you get as you say, confidence that you can actually do and aschieve what you set, and you start off with more confidence greater and greater things. But you gotta take the first step. Its easier said than done but im gonna give it a shot from Today Monday. its 4 am and havent slept yet, Today ill sleep early as it should be and create a habit, and not only that but start excercising indoors, im a bike person, but its too cold and rainy to go out so ive lost health because of lack of excersise here i go!

I always pay more attention to distracting thinks instead of making my Final Project although I already finished my career curriculum a year ago. I always go back to take works on my field instead of finally getting my degree. I have fear of having success as an Architect and work with all the responsibilities that it comes with. so I self Sabotage. Thank you so much for the video, now that I understand everything better I won´t give up until I have my degree. I´m just a step away. Love from the Caribbean.

Hello, I am from India and I find your videos really motivating. You are really matured(mentally) for someone your age. It's great. Regarding self-sabotaging I would like to share my experience with you. Years back, actually a long long time back I had set myself a 'health goal' as I was facing a challenge in that arena at that time.But now, I seem to be almost there.So I would like to simply reiterate that point that you had made about persisting till the end. I think that's crucial.Like they say 'fall 7 times get up 8'. Besides, I feel some people may have more issues than others, so it may take them longer.
Ultimately, one must face the problem head on .

What's up Alex! I have an almost unbeatable habit of laziness. I want to succeed more than anything, but 90% of the time I can't seem to do the thing that should be done that day. Simple things, like read 15 mins a day, work my side hustle, develop my EQ and just get out of my house.
