Decided to sort all my fabric before I bought more! That why I know what I have and what could potential become my next sewing project :)

This video is soooo COOL!
I too have lots & lots of fabric whether its sheets, or free clothes or a few yards of bought fabric. And i want to use it to make patchwork items, like toys, purses, hats, scrafs, booties, curtains, braid rugs, on & on. I don't make any clothes cuz i have soooo many clothes. I also have totes full of yarn. I love crocheting.

If your scraps are large enough, why not make gift sacks out of them, that way, you don’t have to buy gift wrap paper they’re easier to store, and they’re convenient!

Also, satin is a fabric. Silk is a fiber.

For example-

Satin can be made from silk, polyester or acetate. Silk can be made into satin, Noil or brocade.
