Cleaning out my fabric cabinet spiraled into reorganizing my sewing shed. I've learned a lot about choosing fabric over the years and these are my main takeaways.

I love the new layout of your sewing shed and the sunlight streaming through! I am making mental notes as I prepare to build a shed like this for sewing. Thank you for sharing all the details. I often pare down my fabric stash and donate it to various ministries. One year, when I was going on a missions trip to Zambia, a quilt shop donated many bolts of fabric and a friend of mine and I made 66 skirts for the orphan girls I was visiting, as well as a few “Dress a Girl Around the World” dresses. I will never forget their joy in receiving them. I love how your whole family enjoys your sewing space. More inspiration, thank you!!

It is amazing how having a clean organized space makes it easier to be creative and also helps clear your mind.

Good morning sweetheart. Lovely to see you looking so radiant and creative. Yes it really helps to clear and clean things out of your sewing room or stash ( I wish I would do that instead of talking about doing it😂. I am but it is slow going!!!). My lovely daughter gave me two journals. One was a craft journal and the other was a prayer journal. So that was such a thoughtful gift. It is really helpful as you forget what you have crafted and also how Our Father has answered our prayers and entreaties over the year or years. Thank you for your positive and helpful tips and points. You are such a blessing. May God bless you and your lovely family❤😊🙏

Great video with the idea of keeping a sewing/quilting journal. It’s something I’ve been thinking about since I no longer purchase fabrics for a stash but primarily for specific projects.

It looks beautiful! May I ask where that cute weaved tote bag by the door is from?

It’s so hard to not over-buy fabric! My stash is larger than yours and I really need some self control haha

It might be my tv but the audio on this video is weird, it has a eco on your voice! Would suggest taking a look at that
