Actuually i have a 250W power supply as main and want to buy 450W power supply for my GTX1650 as it requires minimum of 75W with 6pin pcie, What should i really do?

I've tried this with x2 corsair HX1200 psus but it doesn't work for me. I've also tried the 24 pin splitter method but it doesn't work either. I've connected the add2psu to the main psu using a molex to 6 pin and then to the 2nd psu. When I try to turn on the pc neither of the psus turn on. When I remove the add2psu or 24 pin the main psu then works as normal.

Dude I have an dell optiplex 9020 SFF which has only 275 W psu and I can't change it. I want to use a rx 580, can i power GPU with help of a 400 W external PSU? And motherboard with the same 275 W?

I got one of these to use as my motherboard does not support a PSU upgrade. I connected one GPU to it (GTS 450), it powered on and worked fine. I connected a more powerful GPU to it (AMD RX 6600) and it won't even boot to motherboard, but it gets powers and fans turn on and everything. Could my nVidia drivers be causing it to boot into a black screen? It's posting and everything, just no display output. Or is the PSU likely not giving it enough power? I have a 750 W Modular PSU powering it.

Why the fudge do you have your RAM installed incorrectly? this way you only get single channel! Always do port 1-3 or 2-4!
