It is my deepest wish in life to be called "sweetie" condescendingly by this man. 😂

Here it is July 17th 2023 and I'm just discovering Dylan... I'm so perplexed on how I lived life before him.... The way my belly is jumping and my shoulders are shimmying while I chuckle intensely watching these

"it's 10pm and I'm boiling prunes in my kitchen"
"it's 3am and I'm making Mac n cheese in my underwear"
I like both

You know, something I do love is seeing how much you've improved as a cook. Obviously you have the recipes you're working with, but you're clearly much more experienced with the baking and it shows.

Watching these videos is like a hug to the eyeballs. My soul needs this.

I used to snap up any cookbook I could but I had to stop cuz money. I grew up learning old dump and stir techniques and how recipes should taste(there are some you can’t write down properly and if you do need adjustments because you can never really truly work a dump and stir recipe into that- even mayonnaise changes over time) and like to reconstruct old recipes.

Better half likes cooking videos and has pretty much all the conventional sense of humor between us.

Somehow these videos do it for both of us.

These videos are a happy place.

Imagine you're laying comfortably in bed and your neighbour starts screaming FIA! PRUNES! WALNUTS WONT SAVE YOU!
And think "oh he's cooking great depression meals again"
