I've made this pie my whole life. Quick tip - you gotta use full fat ingredients. If you try to lighten the fat content it won't set correctly. I also whip mine with a hand mixer for a few minutes before pouring in the crusts. Makes the pie a little lighter.

I halved this recipe for one pie and used lime concentrate instead. Also added lime zest. With the leftover cool whip I topped the pie and sliced the lime to garnish. With the leftover concentrate I made limeade, and with the leftover condensed milk I made caramels. Was all very delicious!
