John Chapman opened a lot of people’s eyes. Also showed how much having combat experience helps .

I was TACP, and I was going to say CCT or PJs. Those dudes washed out every 15 minutes. I couldn't cut it in CCT, which is why I went TACP.

My brother retired from, and still works in the AFSOC pipeline on the support side. I had no clue how bad ass those guys were and how top notch thier programs, selection, facilities, and support are. They dont get enough love from regular folks because most, like me, just dont know

I often wonder if American Sniper, Lone Survivor & Zero Dark 30 never existed, would people really even think of SEALs as elite

Ranking CCT first was the correct move 😂

Love your channel! Interesting you put CAG/Delta in there considering they’re dropping 91% of operators generally who have already done the other pipelines from Ranger/SF etc. Not sure it’s apples/apples. Same if you included DEVGRU.

1-2 guys only complete the CCT pipeline a rotation. I know there are bunch of seal and cag glazers here but less then 5 guys competing a A/S a year is all the proof there.

The numbers are a little skewed with the PJs, CCT and delta, because of whose attending those the air force will throw any 18-19 year old recruit to selection and delta is more selective with who can attend

regimental recon ranger they're tier 1 a lot of tier 1 targets were found by a small regimental recon team

I always assumed PJ was the hardest because of all the book work involved plus the fact they have at least as much swim stuff as SEALs and combat diver is mandatory

Every one forgets S.A.R.C thats ok, because those who know KNOW

lol….Delta has THE hardest selection. Jay must be smoking something.

Delta is definitely number 1. He even said it but put them 3rd. Delta selection is twice a year with about 100 guys. They routinely select 5% or less. Then you have to go through OTC and make it to a Squadron. There are plenty of stories where no one gets sent to a Squadron. That means 0% for that entire 6 month pipeline. Plus 95% or more of Delta dudes are already Green Berets and Rangers. So, just off numbers alone, Delta would have to be highest attrition rate EASILY. Jay even said it so Idk why he listed them 3rd. 🤷‍♂️

Yea selection was a real of the cycle washed out, 96% by the end of the cycle

Idk man i know it's not as specific as far what tier as they go to a lot of different teams but SARC i think is the hardest pipeline as its 2 years up to 3 if you're unlucky with white space. While training for my candidacy for BRC i met some SARCs and i think they can prob kill you, bring you back and kill you again.

Heres the reality guys, AF has high attrition rate cause they have 0 combat oriented jobs just like SEALs which is why they get that whole theyre the toughest. Delta and RRC recruits from elite operators already says attrition rate there says something. For example Rangers tranferring over to the AF have 100% pass rate for PJs and CCT. SF has mid attrition rate due to poor kids thinking theyre gonna get selected, selction is more of playing favors, most get dropped do to their age not their ability to perform. Another thing to note is Rangers selection doesn't end after RASP, they are the only unit that you can lose your spot for any little thing from low morale to injury or someone else got a higher pt test than you which makes you the gatekeeper. SF, SEALs, raiders, JTAC, PJs once you're in you are in, if you get kicked out is for seriously messing up but you still keep your badge, tab, trident, you don't keep your Ranger scroll!

I was SOF at all but I just telling someone the other day that Air Force SOF is the hardest.

I told them I knew it was hard to believe but it is.

Not a chance that SFAS is harder than BUDS. SFAS is 21 days long, and buds is 6 months

I think drop out rates aren't stapel on how great a SOF can be, staying there is what's harder and keeping up with standards and not fucking up is more important
