Rubbing sticks to make fire my fails

My attempts at starting fire rubbing sticks I will get it but here are some of my fails guys hope you enjoy them any tips will be great thanks for watching. Good thing my bug Out bag has a well supplied fire kit right now.

I’ve tried this and I’m no Boy Scout but I used to box in amateur league. Making friction fire is comparable to a 3minute bout in the ring. It kicked my ass but I’m still learning the proper way to do it. All I got was smoke so far. I smoke cigarettes so I don’t think my lungs can last because I gas out right at the crucial moment when smoke happens. Thanks for your video.

Fire saw or fire plow - whatever - the most work of any of the primitive fire making methods, IMO. But you sure could stay warm working at it. Good demo; thought you had it whipped on the last try. An argument for never leaving home without some kind of reliable ignition source. Cheers.

A sly person would go to lengths to ensure they would succeed and I am sure many of the things we see on YouTube might not work in real life with less than ideal material. You show great honesty by showing these fails. Things are not always that easy, well done for showing this.

Yes, I've found difficulty in gaining fire by furiously rubbing two sticks together, it's an old scouts tale, however, I've had exceptional results vigorously rubbing two boy scouts together, ATVB.

Good job. I'm surprised how quickly is started to smoke. Even though it didn't light, it was a great effort. I think yjis is the hardest way to make a fire!
