I remember feeling similarly when handling their Barnes. It's a great knife. But it's still a Reate OEM piece and $649 is a lot for that when considering the rest of the market.

I agree, I think the Carter is overpriced. I can get far "more" knife from other foreign knife makers, with US designers for far less. Divo knives Growler or the Knafs Lander, for example.
