I have a Wicked Edge Sharpener and it is great. The one fault is the blade clamp mechanism. The magnetic holder shown here I like. That being said I have sharpened thousands of knives and everyone that I sharpen for has been extremely happy with my sharpening. Like a razor heel to tip.

I use stones myself, but go for it. I never thought of sandpaper before but as long as you have a good consistent supply of it go for it.

I've had mine since 2012, and still works like a champ with just about any sized knife you have. I've sharpened everything from a small pocket knife up to a machete.

Industrial edge acheived via electrical process. Ceramic polish is good at best but before polish.

Love the angle precision control, but I was under the impression that all the premium knives were non magnetic stainless. A fatal flaw for a premium priced sharpener.
