The Elementum will ALWAYS BE POPULAR. I say this because it is more than just the sum of its parts/materials. It's the overall asthetic and timeless design that makes the Elementum special.

Elementum is hollow ground, not as tall, and stands out way less. It also just cuts better. It won’t be obsolete. I’d carry it over the mini praxis any day.

I literately just bought a mini praxis and absolutely love it handle feels awesome I liked the bigger blade on it and I got mine for 35 bucks

Elementum has a nice simple design more so over the praxis. And I’m pretty sure a better steel too.

Love the mini Praxis... got my first civiv knife last night(the mini praxis) but yes like it so much I ordered another one today(different color of course) and thanks to Amazon same day shipping its already on its way to me!!!

I see what you're getting at but I feel the asthetic design of the elementum is still better. Full disclosure I've owned 4 elementums and haven't owned a mini praxis so I'm a little biased. Have not gotten an elementum button lock 2 though

I have both praxis and love them both I'm looking at the blacked out elementum fixed blade but I like the handles on the chrome finished one and I don't like the leather shealth that comes with the chromed fixed blade elementum it should fit the kydex shealth the other blacked out elementum. I personally think the Yonder takes them both out. It’s slightly smaller/sleeker and able to fit in the 5th pocket. Also I like crossbar engagement over a liner lock.
