I really do hope Nintendo really puts alot of development time into the next Animal Crossing title on the next Switch! I think New Horizons pretty much made the series a pillar of Nintendo now.

OMG i am living vicariously through you!!!! the beginning of acnh was a feeling like NONE other!! i remember when my husband came back from Costco and me thinking I was helping him with the groceries he surprised me with a switch lite in the back trunk xD and I remember pulling an ALL NIGHTER playing this game for the first time!!!

There is definitely something in the air because i have been feeling the EXACT SAME! i haven't picked up animal crossing in ages and I only have my original island from 2020 that i sunk like 500 hrs into. dude i literally just cried with you at the beginning omfg😭 i moved into my first apartment, 800 miles away from my parents like the week acnh came out and it helped me soooo much with my home sickness. it’s so funny how the beginning of the game is so sentimental to all of us

I remember staying up until midnight on March 19th to March 20th when the game came out. I preordered it digitally and me, my sister, and our friend were SO hype. I even took the day off work that friday to have a 3 day weekend to play. Animal crossing was a HUGE part of my childhood and I’ve played every game in the series, it’s so special to me. Watching you play this is SO nostalgic to 4 years ago and how excited i was 😭. New Leaf is still the best one in the series IMO, I hope they come out with a remake for it on the switch like how all the Story of Seasons games are getting remakes 🫶

Oh, MG! Spring 2020 was so scary, we were going into an isolation and saying goodbyes to our friends and families for who knows how long, and getting used to be locked in the house with 2 kids, dog and husband (🤯), and homeschooling... that was a bless that just a few months before i got 3 switches and ACNH was launching just intime, 3 copies of ACNH for me and kids, and we were able to hide from the horrible real world into the most cutest world of the Animal Crossing. To me Animal Crossing New Horizon is not just a cute game, it is a safe place, a mental care place, bunch of cute silly new friends place, and bonding time with my kids place 😄 I think, I am ready to experience it all over again (minus lockdown). Though with no lockdown, there is not so much free time now. Will see.

13:40 this specific music brings back so much nostalgia for me. This game was my first ever AC experience, it was the very beginning of the pandemic and this game was one of the only happy things going on at that time. I remember having no idea what was doing and I miss that. ❤

I love this! I've been burning myself out on SDV since the update. I had a ton of fun but I need a little something different now. So I restarted my ACNH island about a week ago, I'm excited to refresh and excited there are still folks out here doing the same!

My husband got me an OLED for Christmas so I was able to start over and still keep my original island from 2020!! I love going back and forth and trading objects/characters between the two. Definitely has become a daily nighttime routine for me lol
