My mom is obese, i grew up obese and became a bodybuilder. My dad is an alcoholic, always has been, drinks daily and gets absolutely sloshed every weekend, I rarely drink.

I'm diabetic, thyroid disease, pcos, the whole 9 yards, prone to obesity, my whole family is/was obese. I'm an exception, only because of my will to change the cycle and be healthy. I lost 270 lbs (over a 5 yr period), I had no choice, but I chose to not use any drugs outside of my critical meds that I still take, blood pressure, Glucophage, Aldactone, synthroid and a few more. That's actually a shortened list after I lost the weight. Point is, I didn't want to use something that would rip my progress away once I stopped taking it. I'm a trainer now, it's not my main Job, but I immerse myself fully and spread my knowledge to help inform others. Thank you Greg for speaking the truth, love watching your content.

As a former overweight woman who lost the weight naturally and is still 100% natural: Screw you Oprah! I struggled so much to keep my eating habits in check and even though I'm not perfect, I'm in the best shape of my life and I've been at a healthy weight for more than a decade now thank you very much.Some people refuse to do the work, but if they knew how incredible it feels to develop some willpower they wouldn't be promoting drugs for weight loss.

My grandparents are 76 & 74 and started doing L.I.S.S and mobility with a trainer 2 months ago so that when they visit me, they can keep up. They started with 2 miles a day and just accomplished 4 miles today. My grandfather has lost 25lbs so far, and my grandmother has lost 10-11 lbs. There's no such thing as too old to exercise or lose weight

Right on about old/disabled people working out Greg. My dad is a 76 year old former infantrymen who was seriously injured in combat (lost his eye and part of his leg) during The Vietnam War WITH muscular dystrophy. I just assisted him on getting on to a stationary bike so he could do his miles for the day. He still does upper body (with whatlimited mobility his MD will grant him) a couple times a week.

People will make excuses for ANYTHING and tell you they just can't without even trying.
