I can’t imagine a Dane turning to the dark side. It would serve a terrible purpose.

As a paramedic I took a total 23 dog bite calls, 3 where Great Dane bites.

1) Left hand, gone never found.

2) lower right abdominal quadrant, patient didn’t make it to the hospital .

3) Bite to the face from the right, everything from the zygomatic arch to the ear was gone.

Every dog has its triggers.

He's just playing.... He's wagging his tail. I wrestle with my Great Dane, he sounds like his wants to eat me alive but he's just playing. If he was serious, she wouldn't be able to hold him back.

My opinion on Danes is that they are genuinely sensitive and gentle, but they will defend their pack if there’s an actual threat of harm

This is the Great Dane I would love to have. Old school, working type, high drives, the way it was bred to be back in the days.

They’re the best at protection. They’re huge and fearless. They’re intention is first to back off intruders. They do this very well. If they don’t heed the warning, they will go further. It won’t end up well for the intruder. At least they warn them. 😂😂😂

These dogs were breeded to take on bears, in packs yes, but an unarmed human or knife armed human, it could definitely take. As shown here, a simply slip of the leash and it'd be ontop of his face, mauling him.

You really don’t have to train this in Great Danes. I didn’t have to train it. Ask ups, Amazon, Instacart. My Dane only accepts friends and family. 😂😂😂😂

As a Dane owner, he is not attacking, he is trying to play. There is no effort in his lunges and she is tiny. My Dane lunged at a squirrel with more effort and took my shoulder with him.

These dogs are huge and more powerful than humans you should teach them not to be aggressive because they could really hurt someone

An aggressively protective great Dane is a problem for anyone or anything attempting to harm you and usually they’re so friendly. It’s pretty intimidating to see one be protective.
