Psychedelic therapy is just one of those great leaps in the mental health space. It’s wonderful and the fact they serve recreational use and health as well. Can’t say I don’t trip once in a while.

Funny how the therapist against just happens to be someone that would lose business if this were to be legal in US

To everyone who is asking and wondering why the U.S banned this use of treatment. Its simple. Rehabs & $$$. If the US / Government actually cared about people getting help this would have became legal years ago. Truth is though, addiction is a big money maker and they are not gonna legalize a miracle drug when they can make 60k off of you in Rehab for 28 days.

19 people died over the course of 18 years based on pre-existing medical conditions that went untreated/undiagnosed. How many people have die in the US due to the intake of suboxone and methadone every year?

It can be life threatening. Like shoving heroin in your veins isn't.

The fact is that ibogaine can also be microdosed so that there is minimal risk and no scary hallucinations.

19 people dead using psychedelics vs one million dying of opiates sounds reasonable

Jose is amazing!!! I have sent two people close to me to his facility! One of those people went to two other places that under dosed him, one of them endangered his life. Jose is SO CLINICAL and he also dosed him properly. This was years ago and my loved one has not done heroin since! And he was treated with so much dignity at Jose’s facility/resort. Jose allowed me to come along and encourages family support. I was pulling up Ibogaine videos to send to my friend whose mom struggles with heroin and I was absolutely delighted to see them interviewing Jose!!! His method should be the gold standard for how Ibogaine is administered!

Psychedelic’s definitely have potential to deal with mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression, I would like to try them again but it’s just so hard to source here

Nancy Knott doesn’t know what she’s talking about. I’ve taken Ibogaine multiple times. It doesn’t creat psychosis. Has she ever tried it? Odds are the answer is no. She makes money off of addiction and Ibogaine directly threatens her revenue stream.

Did it a few months ago at 20 years old in Costa Rica. Completely life changing. It really showed me how evil the United States is as a country. I left my body and went to the spiritual realm. I saw demons, an angel and met Jesus. I recommend it to everyone because it will turn your life around.

Who’s this Knox lady? In TOXIC doses in a NON-MEDICAL setting there are risk. This is NOT a “psychedelic.” This is a real medication that requires a full medical checkup (particularly on heart, liver, and kidneys) ahead of time. This Baja place does not seem credible. The reporter did not do her research either. Did she perhaps want to mention the deaths coming from heroin and methadone abuse? In a MEDICALLY CLINICAL IN-PATIENT procedure this is a very safe and effective option for those who can afford it. The problem is that most people cannot.

At this point, the doctor are complicit. Try and get a doctor who prescribed the opiates to give you a schedule to ween off of them and they pretty much tell you everything but what you need to know to be successful. Guess that’s what happened when you get paid to write scrips and not save people

ibogaine metabolites not only take care of the psychological addiction, but they also work in the body to repress withdrawal symptoms. some heavy heroin addicts could be killed by their own immune system from withdrawals, ibogaine is LIFE SAVING and when the news literally says "doctor says ibogaine is NOT recommended" I get so heated, or when they mentioned ibogaine could be fatal with heart conditions, so do prescriptions, the SSRI's prescribed by therapists left me (I was a kid during treatment) with seizures from withdrawals, I wish Ibogaine was an option when I had to deal with that

It needs to be legal. If used under doctor care.
