former Logic hardcore user here. NowI´m completely on Cubase 13. And very happy. I really HATE that Logic has NO macros! NO plugin seatrching! clunky automation, rudimentary midi editor, old tiny unflexible mixer, bad stretch algo etc. C13 highly recommend, I must say.

I use Cubase but haven’t figured out how to export dry and processed signals in one go yet. I believe Logic Pro has that feature and it feels like it can save lots of time for collabs in a fast paced environment, say, pop or electronic productions. Do you guys know how to do it in Cubase or is Logic simply better for this?

Started from FL studio but I got matured needing that linear workflow. Now im on logic, spent 2 years mastering it. A couple major shortcomings

- plugin search
- I/O track search
- sample browser does not preview when playback has started
- sample browser cant preview 32 bit files
- track hierarchy only goes to 3 levels
- waveform visuals on playlist does not conform to gain edits.
- sampler has no warping mode, only gives you 1 algorithm and cant be edited in increments.
- new chord track feature really sucks, very hard to edit.
- piano roll editing is not that great.

And cubase fills up these shortcomings, and it sucks if i had to relearn another DAW, i’m on dilemma on whether to switch again.

Any tips? Or can you list the disadvantages of cubase? Features that you wish you had
