Seeing how Locke’s philosophy applies to the character of “John Locke” on the series “LOST”. WOW. It certainly applies. Whomever wrote that show, Jim Abrhams I think, did a marvelous job. I will be off to Desmond Hume as well. Locke is a multi faceted character on this series. There’s another named philosopher on this show. It had one of those “left to interpretation” endings. I believe that the main characters died in the crash. They were in purgatory, the back flashes of each character, righting their mistakes during life was a clue. At the end they met in a faux church for a funeral and the doors opened to the proverbial light and they all walked into the light. That was the last episode. Many clues that they died in the initial crash during the entire series. The use of philosophers has me perplexed. I must know if their names coincided with the actual philosophers.
