Update: I gave it a good go. Tried on its on and then tried as a sushi roll. Definitely not my jam. The smell and texture were fine for me but the bitter taste wasn't a vibe. I probably will not be trying it again but it was great giving it a go!

I really like to combine sweet with salty food. I like tea with sugar and on the side I can have sandwich with ham or egg and mayo on bread; cake and mashed potatoes; condensed milk on top of pies with cheese and greens

Oh my gosh, I definitely have a food that I like that people wouldn't. I dated a Russian guy for a while, and his mom would cook Russian food for us, and one thing was Gretchka. It's buckwheat, usually prepared by rehydrating and boiling dehydrated grains, and has a strong earthy taste. My friends and my mom are all skeptical about it, but after I got used to the taste, I loved it, in fact, with all the crap in the American food I eat sometimes I crave it just for that good nutrients

Nato is eaten here in the northeast India too but it is called axone and yeah it is sticky and slimy

I like sauerkraut, don't really know why most people don't like it, it is fermented cabbage but it's good. My dad sometimes makes a soup with sauerkraut, potatoes, carrots, onions, moose sausage, or caribou sausage it's a great winter soup.
