Im a 17 year old girl and have always been amazed with skating, when i was little i would beg my parents to buy me one just to try it out but it never happened. Years went on and i got to a point where i could buy my own but was too afraid to even start. I'm almost 18 now but it's never to late to learn is it? Even if im in my teens. Call me a noob but i've been watching these kind of videos nonstop for the past week and it has motivated me to start.

I just got the skateboard a week ago and started trying to ride it 5 minutes ago

This taught me how to skate in under 10 minutes, I had a board sitting in my room for 2 years but now I skate for up to 2 hours and it's so much fun!! Would recommend 💕

I bought a skateboard a week ago, because I’m really interested in it right now, and I want to be able to do these basic things but I think my issue is mental block, it’s like I’m scared of the board .. I just don’t know how to get passed it

I started skating last year at 24. I've been in love with Skateboarding since I young age, but always played other sports. I think the hardest thing for me is not having anyone to skate with....

And the best advice I could give is make sure you bend those knees. That was ONE of my biggest problems.

Just got a skateboard for Christmas, I’ve been asking for one for months and I finally got it! I just set it up today and I can’t ride it yet. I am already an advanced rollerblader, balancing and moving the board came quiet easy to me.

Edit: UPDATE! I learnt to skateboard and i know a few tricks and shit but i fell trying a kickflip and broke my wrist so no skating for 8 weeks :P
