I know a lot of you who subscribe to me already know how to skateboard but this video is meant to live here on YouTube forever for anyone who is learning or just getting started!

So share this with your friends who just got their skateboard and hopefully this will kick start their journey!

But remember!!! The most important thing is consistency! So keep practicing and don’t give up! 🖤

I’ve been trying to learn how to skateboard since for two years now but my only issue is that I’m embarrassed to skate in public. I feel humiliated because I’m a complete beginner. I never realized how difficult it is to leave your comfort zone

update : got the skateboard and am gonna go skate with a friend whos gonna inline skate but hey at least we are skating together 👍👍

The absolute number 1 tip for newbie skaters is to BEND YOUR KNEES. By bending your knees you are also applying pressure to your board making it so that you actually STICK to the board without falling off. Not only that but EVERY SINGLE TRICK quite literally requires you to BEND YOUR KNEES. I see a lot of Skateboard tutorials forgot to mention this crucial tip.

I am 19 and just started last week. What really helps is that some of my friends skate. I am the only one wearing protective gear though😂

Another good tip is you don’t have to rush into tricks. Just spend time cruising. The more comfortable you are on the board the easier some tricks will be. Also a good way to get used to the the board changing high or dropping is to practice riding down curbs. Always start small even if you think its too easy start small and build from there. Also take time to rest too taking care of ur body is just as important.

I always wanted to learn how to skate, but didn’t. Now I’m 28, and I’m at my second day. Don’t be discouraged if you’re older 🤘
Thanks for the video, it was really helpful 😊

This has been great man. I just started skating again after 17 years and two torn Achilles tendons. My ex wife told the kids I use to skate and for them to ask me to teach them thinking I wouldn't do it. But I went out the same day and got all three of us decent boards.. I have never seen them so Into an active sport and that's really made me want to get back into it.
Keep these videos up they have watched it atleast 10 times each to try and learn.

You’ve just got such a good vibe. It makes me proud to be a skater.

As a beginner, I always feel embarrassed when people look at me trying to skate, I look stupid cause I’m a noob. Especially when I fail or fall, I hope I can skate to school after holidays without feeling embarrassed

I´m 23 and had never skate in my life, since my father died I decided to start doing things I would never do and live my life, today I bought my first skateboard and after I finish some lab reports I´m going to the park to practice, this video looks really helpful.
I hope at the end of the year I at least can go to my girlfriends house using my skateboard.

First of all, the grip tape looks so damn good, i wish it wasn’t sold out. Started skating two days ago, got my first board on Christmas and holy mother of god, I always thought it was easy for some reason, I still have to learn how to balance while moving with it without falling. Thank you for this, I appreciate it.

YouTube recommended me a couple of your shorts, subscribed. Idk what it is, but the atmosphere in your videos is just really comfortable and has a sense of familiarity, feels like I'm hanging out with a super chill old friend.
Got my first ever board yesterday, spent the evening practicing balancing, pushing and stuff. In an hour I went from being unable to stand on a board to going down a little hill turning left and right. I'm having an absolute blast with skating, my only regret is not having tried it out sooner. Gonna watch more of your videos and keep improving 💪🏼

For people who are scared to go to a skate park, I can assure you that every person there has felt that same thing and been in your position when they’re just starting to learn. Another thing that can help is to get a friend to go with you so that way it takes the nerves away from
