My kids used to laugh at me because I always had a stockpile of everything that I felt was necessary for a household of 5. I never ran out of anything. Now that they are all grown and on their own I have continued that lifestyle. It was my turn to laugh at them when COVID hit and the store shelves were bare. They would come to me for the basics they couldn't find. I was even smart enough to have a solid stash of baby supplies for my only grandchild. My oldest daughter was literally in tears the day I had her come over and was able to supply her with the everything she so desperately needed for the baby and herself. Now none of my adult children laugh at me anymore. They each have started their own stockpiles. Thank you for sharing with us.☺

Me and my husband in March managed to get a two year supply of food. We hadn’t touched it at all December 17 my husband passed away who is the main breadwinner of the home. Very happy I have that stockpile

My husband thinks I am a few nuggets short of a happy meal, but he leaves me alone to prep. This is impressive and I am inspired!! I would recommend Nido powdered milk. It is fortified and tastes great mixed with water.

You are NOT HOARDING! You are taking care of your family. I love the shelf that you have invested in. You are going to want another shelf for paper products and cleaning items. Stock up on oil, ghee, raw honey and syrup. Make sure you monitor the temperature of your storage space. Rock on, girl! I'm working on my third shelving unit myself.

I'm in the UK, I keep adding payday preps into my RV. It's all prepped out and could be a bug out vehicle.

I have at least 12 months of food preps.
I have hunting equipment (the most powerful legal rifles you can have in the UK) and fishing gear.
I have solar and full off-grid capability
I have 2 diesel blown air heater systems.
I have short wave, ham, and High Power CB radio equipment (powerful enough to talk all accross Europe, north Africa, America and Canada.

Keep making videos. It's amazing how many tips you're providing! 👍🏼👍🏼

These are the same people who will do the same, as soon as they can. Do what you believe is right for you and your family. Be very careful about letting people know where you live. In desperate times, people will do desperate things to feed their family. Thanks for this video.

People start judging me because I start buying food they ask me why so much I said because I have 6 kids and I said what if my husband won’t have job so I like to be prepared I just start like 2 months ago, but I don’t care what people think of me to be prepared everyone do what they want with their money so you rock

Don't let anyone make you feel like you are hording. I had a few people chew me out for having to large carts full.
I don't know how to shut my mouth😜.. I looked at the lady and said " How do you expect me to feed 13 people with one little cart..." Especially when 2 are diabetics, not to mention 3 with each different food allergies/intolerant, gluten free, and celiac. Occasionally I can have a meal that ALL can eat.😍.. You do what you need to do for your family!❤️🙏

Hello from lockdown UK! Don’t give those haters a second of ur energy, having these stores is for your family and there ain’t no greater purpose than that! They will be the first ones knocking little old grannies out of the way when shtf to fill their carts!!!! Great video, my British pantry is lusting after the stuff u get in the USA 😄

Wow! My goal is to have 2 years worth of food for myself. 1 year of stuff I regularly eat that I can shuffle through and rotate. The other year is long term food storage like Augason farms. I also have 2 years worth of toiletries and I have a list of other prepping items and which ones I need to get first. My plan is to have everything I need by the end of 2021.

Quite right. your prepping not hoarding . Everyone needs to do it. On some level. During this time . Having a pantry stock is nothing new. Families have been doing it for years .👍💙

If times get tough, some of this can be bartered and swapped with family and friends for other items also needed. Also nice to do a little care package for someone in need or an elderly neighbor. Also the Bear Creek Soups make up really nice....try the tortilla soups one and also the chili...really delicious.

I like the tuna in oil and during a survival situation the oil is an extra nutritional content.

Nice haul! I love that you have a fresh new shelf to put all this. Inspired me to reorganize! Don’t listen to trolls. Staying prepared is not only good for emergencies...it is cost effective because you don’t have to run to the store for one thing and you can stock up during sales so you never have to pay full price.

I love clam chowder. But they don't put enough clams in it. So I stocked up on extra cans of clams to put in the chowder.

So impressive that you filled that whole shelf in one go so I had to give you a thumbs up.

Very inspiring, I learnt it hard way, stuck at a desolate apartment with a sack of rice about 10kg, 3kg pulses, 5 cabbages, onion, salt and turmeric for 53 days due to this pandemic. Now safe at home with my mom, I help my mom in stocking food supplies.
