How to sketch a face for beginners (real time tutorial)

This is by FAR the most requested video I get on all social media platforms! In this video, I share my tips and tricks for drawing faces! We talk about proportions, shading, and more 💕 Today's tutorial is geared more toward beginners but I hope it is entertaining nonetheless! For a video about how you sketch faces, this is great. For a tutorial aimed at beginners, its unhelpful. You tend to say things that a beginner (such as myself) would not know what you are referencing or how to do it. When you are "adjusting proportions" or drawing specific elements like the lips or hair, there is so little explanation as to what a beginner should do for those, to the point where i find myself guessing about what you seem to be doing, instead of actually having it explained in a way that makes sense to a beginner. Great video, but I didn't get much out of it besides things that I already knew, like to draw a circle for the start of the face.

Second thing, please don't say "obviously" when explaining things unless it is completely 100% obvious to someone who has no experience with this. Beginners don't tend to have the understanding that would make things like lighting obvious, so saying it can be discouraging.

what do you mean by ratio of the face, and how do you know?

if you can, can you make a painting tut? (It doesn't matter what style you paint or what you paint, I just need help and tips LMAO)

how do you find/ get inspiration?

how do you draw hair not making it seem flat or like "crazy" with volume?

what paint do you use?
