Mendeley is trash now after the new updates. The interface is changed completely and they removed all the useful features such as the literature search. And it's slow.

Great tutorial Derek! just a note that the "Literature Search" feature in Mendeley is based on a community crowd-sourced research database, and not the original publisher databases. The implication here is that we shouldn't depend on the source entries to be accurate or complete. Just thought I'd add this here for the benefit of your viewers.
