Carnivore Diet Grocery Shopping

Come with me as I do some grocery shopping for the carnivore diet. My husband and I eat only meat, seafood, eggs and butter, and in this short I will show you a bit of what we purchase.

I work at costco as a meat wrapper and being trained to cut meat, so I can give you advice on either on of those cuts it you need. With the sirloin trim the fat off and you'll see a fat vein on one side once it's clean. Cut down through the vein and then cut the 2 sections into steaks of you're liking. Chuck can be a number of ways. At costco we put the neck part into ground beef. Use it if you want to but it's gonna be pretty tough even for Chuck. I'd recommend either breaking the whole thing down into a bunch of steaks which could include to Denver steak, Chuck steaks, and Sierra steak. Can find videos from real butchers on YouTube for that. Or just can cut Chuck steaks that are on the opposite side of the neck which were where the chuck connected to the ribeye. However thick you'd like until you reach the thicker portion of the Chuck and cut that into roasts. If you want to know what costco does we take the neck off, trim off any bone skin and brown parts on the exterior and cut the rest into 3 inch Roasts like you see in the package

I went to Sam's the whole ribeye roast was 11.99 a pound. Single steaks cost the same a pound. Stores have caught on
