Interesting fact: SAF managed Aberdeen and MU - both teams have not won the league after he left managing them (until 2023).

Aberdeen had won in three times in total with SAF in charge (they only won it once before 20 odd years prior) and he somehow got them to win the European Cup Winners and European Super Cup as well.

For me this is extremely unique, he created two incredible winning dynasties with two previously un-fancied and rather ordinary teams in two different leagues.

Tbf pep and fergie are both ina League of there own but can’t be compared either. Imagine if Fergie started in the same spot as pep. Also back when fergie was doing it the Spanish league and Italian league was wayyy better then today! It was alot harder to win a champions league back then. Fergie did have financial backing during his time at united but it was justified through winning many titles when he didn’t have so much. Respectively best of their era but I’ll always have more respect for what fergie achieved given what he started with.
